    eBook (Independent, Dec. 23, 2018)
In 1897, an on-field tragedy nearly killed the game of football in Georgia, until an unlikely heroine came to its defense. Inspired by historical events. GRIT is part of the Georgiana Collection of books at the University of Georgia’s Hargrett Rare Book & Manuscript Library.
  • The Games I Played: Sports themed activities kids can play alone

    Drew Mitchell

    language (, April 7, 2020)
I grew up in the late 70s and early 80s, and this is a collection (6) of sports-themed games that I came up with to play when none of my friends were around. Half are played outdoors, and the others indoors. They are pretty simple to play, and the best part is there's no video or online streaming involved. Not only are they fun, they'll enhance math and writing skills - but don't tell your kids that! Recommended for ages 10-14.
